Victoria Arts Symposium

The Toronto Star is running a piece on Victoria's recent International Arts Symposium. Considering the symposium's theme was "artists of conscience" it isn't surprising to read about some very inspiring street art including the story of a Montreal neighbourhood who turned a laneway into a garden to combat speeding.

Was anyone able to make it to the symposium? It would be great to hear some more firsthand accounts. It would also be great to find out more about the garden/road intervention as Google is so far coming up empty...

Thanks to Spacing Wire for the scoop.
