Friday is for Playlists | Sept 2th, 2007

As suspected, Wintersleep's "Weighty Ghost" took top spot this week with Sopia Selmani's spot-on cover of Dylan's Most of the Time pulled in a close second. Which is really no surprise as these tracks are all on a 10 song playlist I constructed last week....

Coming up this week: I suspect I'll be listening to Polaris Prize winner Patrick Watson's "Close to Paradise" quite a bit.

Other Notes:
*Total Songs listened to in the last 7 days = 129

yeah, i'm really enjoying it so far. there's a lot of m. ward, a little jeff buckley and later radiohead with the same weight of insturmentation/arrangements as the beach boys used for their cover of the Sloop John B.

Hey James, I thought the same a dash of cold play, a dash of radio head...and buckley. Definitely, a nice mix.
