RIP Jeff Healey

Legendary Canadian blues and jazz great, Jeff Healey passed away yesterday after fighting cancer nearly his entire life.

I once saw Jeff rip the roof off the place at an outdoor concert - which is quite the feat when you consider the only roof at an outdoor concert is the sky itself. Healey locked into the blues like nobody's business and played that guitar like he had caught a demon by the tail...

The next world just got a little louder.

... now that is somewhere between great and crazy! one question ... 'how the hell did he know where that chair was when it was time to sit down again?" ... 41 years was way too short for a legend.

I am always blown away at how he got the sounds he did out of the guitar playing it like he did. Brilliant...
