M3 + M4 Ring

"The M3 + M4 ring elevates the utility screw to the status of diamond.


Where luxury items are typically based upon their rarity, M3 and M4 challenge this notion by redefining that luxury should stem from utility merit and not on scarcity."





Gorgeous in it's design and loaded with social commentary,  this ring by the National Design Collective is an absolutely phenomenal piece of work.

It's questioning of worth and utility reminds me a lot of Phillipp Mohr and Tobias Wong's "Hidden Diamond Ring" (pictured below),  a wicked slap in the face of conspicuous consumption itself.
