James Kingsley: The Great Canadian Bacon Festival

I first fell in love with the design of this poster after seeing it on Kelly Hunt's (always excellent) Eat Local London blog, but it wasn't until I saw it in The Met's window during the Car Free Festival a few weekends back that I was able to fully appreciate its execution - namely, the fact that it's printed on genuine butcher's paper.

As a bit of a foodie myself, the festival has me drooling (check out the menu), but I wanted to use this post to tip my hat to festival organizer Sarah Reynolds and designer Jesse Gibb for gracing shop windows and hydro poles around town with such a great poster. Well done!
